Serve On-Site

Thank you for your interest in volunteering on-site at one of our centers with First Coast Women’s Services. There are 3 steps to becoming an on-site volunteer.

The first step to volunteering onsite is to better understand the volunteer needs. Click our “On-site Volunteer Roles List” to learn more about serving on-site at one of our Centers.

The next step to becoming a volunteer is learning more about who we are as an organization. Click on our Core Values and Statement of Faith to learn more about what we believe and our philosophy of ministry here at FCWS.

After learning more about our on-site roles and our core values, please download our Volunteer Application and Volunteer Reference Form. Complete the application form and submit it according to the directions indicated. After we receive your application, you will be contacted by one of our staff-members to come in for a meeting and tour and to schedule your training.

Serve Off-Site

There are a number of ways to serve with First Coast Women’s Services outside the walls of one of our Centers. These service options help supply FCWS with the funds and physical materials we need to serve our clients.

Select an off-site serving option from the list below to learn more about it!

Create a stocking for our clients! This is a great project that you and your small group can create and drop off during the holidays at one of our five centers.

Filling up a bottle with spare change is a small way to make an eternal difference in the lives of unborn babies and their mothers. You can easily participate by ordering baby bottles for your church, community group, or work place.

A layette is a set of new baby clothes, supplies, and accessories for a newborn decoratively placed in a plastic baby tub, packaged in tulle or cellophane to keep contents together.

Our Client Advocates oftentimes get the opportunity to share the Gospel or offer spiritual encouragement to our clients. When a client shows interest in learning more about Salvation, or even surrenders their life to the Lord, we love to provide them with a “New Believers” or “Spiritual Encouragement Bag” full of items to help them along in their walk with God!

Material items are vital to FCWS’s Earn While You Learn program, through which our clients have to opportunity to be educated on their pregnancy and prepared for their baby’s arrival, while receiving material needs along the way. Gather a group at any time of year to throw a “Baby Shower” and collect items to donate to FCWS clients, while enjoying fellowship at a fun and worthwhile event.

FCWS Parents attending the Earn While You Learn (EWYL) Classes take classes on parenting, relationship skills, finances, etc. and then earn points to “purchase” essential baby items. New parents, both moms and dads love to earn a diaper bag with all the essentials that a new parent will need.

FCWS Dads attending the Earn While You Learn (EWYL) Classes take classes on parenting, relationship skills, finances, etc and then earn points to “purchase” essential baby items. New fathers love to earn a daddy diaper bag with all the essentials that a new father will need when he’s on “diaper duty.”

Create a gift bag for our clients! This is a great project that you and your small group can create and drop off at one of our five centers.
